Q&A

Q: How often do you recommend Key Concierge checks our home?
A: We strongly recommend a weekly visit. Many things can happen in Florida, especially in the summer, if a home is not checked regularly. In the right environment mold can grow, multiply and literally take over a whole room in a matter of days. Those of us in this business have lots of heart breaking stories of damaged homes or condos because a problem wasn’t caught in time to correct the problem. Most issues can be circumvented before major damage occurs.

Q: Will I get a discount on my homeowners with your service?
A: Ask your agent about the provisions in your particular policy but most insurance companies recognize that when problems are caught and fixed quickly, it saves them money in the long run. They provide discounts to homeowners with a home watch service as an incentive to proactive detection.

Q: What happens if a problem is discovered?
A: We document the problem with photos and discuss the situation with you. We then call on our vast team of vendors and suppliers to get the problem resolved. In the over 10 years Key Concierge has been in business we have encountered fires, floods, mold, security breaches, wind damage, plumbing problems, rodent problems, pool, cage, roof… virtually anything you can think of, we have experienced. We have solid reliable trusted partners who can handle any problem quickly and efficiently.

Q: What geographic area do you cover?
A: We provide service for Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Communities east of I-75. We cover all of the keys including; Casey Key, The Oaks, Siesta Key, Bird Key, Longboat Key, Lido Key, Anna Maria Island, St. Armand’s.
